Police seek more power

Report say that the Police are going to ask the Government for more power. They want to be able to dish out justice, without worrying about trails, judges, evidence, juries and all the other things that get in the way of their shift ending and getting to the pub for a pint with their mates. In these times of Police shooting suspected electricians, dubious evidence of terrorist activities and general lack of confidence in Blairs regime - they want MORE power?
