Love the line of HANNA-BARBERA SUPER TV HEROES comic books from Gold Key!
Here's a couple of my HANNA-BARBERA SUPER TV HEROES sketch cards that are available...MIGHTOR and BIRDMAN! E-mail me at powsley@flash.net.
Love this 1962 HANNA-BARBERA BAND-WAGON cover from GOLD KEY Comics! The sensational MEL CRAWFORD did the character paintings. The cover's title logo inspired my blog banner logo. Click on the image for a larger view!
Above is my KING LEONARDO & ODIE COLOGNE art. Below are two 1960s KING LEONARDO comic books. Love the TOTAL TELEVISION characters!
Love the 1960s BULLWINKLE Gold Key comic books! This is BULLWINKLE #1 from 1962. The JAY WARD cartoons and characters are an inspiration to me and my work.
Here's a few more examples of the sensational cartoon painting work of MEL CRAWFORD! Check out my LINKS section for MEL CRAWFORD and GOLDEN GEMS!

Here's a piece I did based on the 1966 LAUREL AND HARDY TV cartoons that were produced by Hanna-Barbera and Larry Harmon Pictures Corp. Love the cartoons and the Gold Key LAUREL AND HARDY comic books!
I see only BIGGER AND BOULDER things to come for all of us in 2009!
Love this illustration that was seen in a 1960s GOLD KEY Comics advertisement. It has a great 60s advertising cartoon style! Cool cross-hatched clouds! Click on the image for a larger view!
From my Hanna-Barbera file, here's a BAMM-BAMM piece that I did back in 2005.
I love this 1964 Gold Key one-shot issue of BAMM-BAMM AND PEBBLES FLINTSTONE. I really like the BAMM-BAMM logo that was designed for this cover! Click on both images for larger views!
I received this terrific Hanna-Barbera collectible today from Mike Dammen of Hollandale, MN. I traded Mike a SNOOPER & BLABBER color sketch for this 1962 issue of YAKKY DOODLE and CHOPPER from Gold Key! Be sure to check Mike's cartoon comic book eBay auctions under his seller ID of "old-cartoon-comics". Mike specializes in GOLD KEY and DELL comics...especially Hanna-Barbera titles. Thank you, Mike! This issue also contains a 5-page SNAGGLEPUSS story. Click on the image for a larger view!
I love how HECKLE AND JECKLE were illustrated on this February 1963 Gold Key comic cover. It looks like a cartoon painting, using only flat colors. A very cool effect! Click on the image for a larger view!
