CCGB Forum Comic Jam

...
Recently I was fortunate to be involved in a Comic Jam, over on the CCGB forum. How it worked was that each cartoonist drew one panel, only seeing the previous panel in the strip. My panel is the second one. I'm amazed how well this all came together. Congratulations, and credit to all involved (in order of appearance): BREN, CLANGERS, IAN, STEVE, SHUB, ROYSTON, ALEX, NIGEL, NOEL, MATT, BRENDAN, AND CLIB.

A special mention to Bren and Ian for organising all this.

Ferraro Rocher

I found an old ruler upstairs. Works much better than without a ruler. I think it's the same ruler that I had at school, 75 years ago! My old school calculator (as in the one I had at school - not something with red LED display) is still working on it's original battery too!

Christmas...

CLICK TO ENLARGE (it'll look better).
Christmas 2006 has snook up on me yet again. I was panic shopping today. Lots of other people were also doing the same. I must have spent most of my time in a Que, waiting to pay for all the stuff I was trying to buy. Damn those unorganised people. They were getting in my way. I hate shopping at normal times. I really hate shopping this time of year.
The cartoons may not be produced as frequently over the next week or so, but I will post a few times over the holiday season. I have some Christmas themed cartoons planned for the next few days, then things will probably dry up for a while.
In other news - I've been banned from House Price Crash forum, for daring to mention the other forum, and calling them Nazis (after provocation from their rude behaviour) on Global House Price Crash Forum. Sorry HPC, but you ain't going to censor me. I'll say what I like about you in other places.
HPC, is possibly the most over controlled, excessively moderated, and unpleasant forum out there. It's full of control freaks, and they have zero interest in anything other then their own agenda. The mods seem to feel they have real power over people - but c'mon, get real, it's just a forum. They drive as many people away as they attract.
Global House Price Crash - is quite the opposite - friendly, encourages healthy debate, and confident enough not to be afraid of any mention of the other forum.
HOUSE PRICE CRASH = SATAN'S ARMPITS
GLOBAL HOUSE PRICE CRASH = SANTA'S WHISKERS

Norman Skoda

Here's a really old cartoon. Norman Skoda was inspired by a teacher at school, who drove around in a Skoda 120 Estelle (invalid car blue). The irony. I now drive a dark blue Skoda Felicia.
Seriously thinking of doing some new strip cartoons, but for now you'll have to settle for some oldies.

M&S Y-Fronts

Told you I'd update today. This one is inspired by those snobby adverts on British TV at the moment. It's not just posh food - it's M&S posh food. Still it seems to be working for Marks & Spencer. Sales of their posh food has gone up since the adverts began. Maybe now the sales of M&S Y-fronts will skyrocket too. Wonder if they'll give me a slice of the profits? Before you ask - no I don't wear Y-Fronts, not since 1982 anyway. 1982 was the Great British Y-Front amnesty for all you non British visitors. If anyone from Marks & Spencers is reading this - the NO, I don't want any free Y-Fronts.
I know the weather is really hot, and I won't get many visitors during the heat-wave - but I think it's still worth updating. If you are indoors, hiding from the heat - then please remember to look at the archives. There is some gems amongst all the dross.

Parallel News 2

Believe it or not, none of this is fiction. It's what the Government is saying. If Whitehall are cutting costs, and Blair is insistent on introducing ID cards, then I wonder who will be paying for the ID cards? Say no to ID Cards!
