Wild Boars Roaming Britain Again

Wild Boars have been extinct in England for the last 300 years, but recently there have been sightings, particularly in South West England and Exmoor National Park. Some of the boars have escaped from farms, after animal rights extremists cut fences, and now the population seems to be multiplying. There's an estimated 1,000 wild boars now in England. The boars have no natural predators, so the population will go unchecked. Ramblers too have no natural predators - so what to do about them, I don't know. Poison the Kendal Mint Cake?
