Blair Won't Go...

Tony Blair. Hate him, or really hate him, he's refusing to budge. He won't quit. He won't step aside for the Iron Chancellor. He's staying put for at least another year. That's just as well, as it's taken me all this time to get a decent likeness of him. It's good to see the Prime Minister of Great Britain considering minority groups (cartoonists) in his big plan for the UK. He's out Toried the Tories, he's made everyone feel rich with huge price rises in housing. He's turned the Labour Parties fourtunes around, and he's courted the media and pop stars. He is Mr Cool Britania. We need him like the Taleban needs aftershave.
Someone asked why my cartoons aren't always topical, but sometimes based on news stories that are a few days past their best. The reason for this, is that most of the cartoons you see on here are drawn days in advance of publication on here. I always try to post the most topical ones first, but for reasons of time, I cannot post more then one a day. Usually I draw them all in a short space of time, and then they are backed up, ready to be posted over the next few days. I will try to keep the cartoons as topical as possible in future.
