I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! Here's something I did for fun. It's an early design for HANNA-BARBERA's RICOCHET RABBIT that I re-created with colored pencils, brush, pen & ink on a textured blue paper. When this design was originally done in 1963, the working title may have been HAIRTRIGGER HARE. This 6 3/4" x 11 3/4" RICOCHET RABBIT original art is available to own. RICOCHET RABBIT - EARLY DESIGN

Here's an early design of Hanna-Barbera's RICOCHET RABBIT. This design was done by DICK BICKENBACH. I took a print-out of the pencil art and colored it with markers, then inked it with a brush. I've been watching a lot of classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons lately. The classic H-B cartoons are some of my all-time favorite 1960s TV cartoons. Click on the image for a larger view!
