Fuel Crisis Cartoon. The way the cost of fuel is going, I predict they'll be many more cartoons appearing on this theme. When recently looking for a replacement car (don't ask) I was told by several people in the trade that many are trading in their gas guzzlers and looking for the economic 'shopping trolleys'. I've now got a replacement Skoda (stop laughing) that has a bigger engine, higher fuel consumption, and higher road tax - but I'm lucky in that I don't need to do that many miles most of the time. At least now I can overtake other vehicles without holding my breath. Overtook a tractor last week. That felt very good, to power past without breaking into a sweat.
