The Antiques Roadshow. A great programme that has been running in the UK for donkeys years. It's amusing to watch for several reasons. The look of dissapointment from those who were hoping to retire from the proceeds from aunt maiseys thimble collection, those who know full well that the painting they have is worth £20,000, but they want everyone to know they have it hanging in their downstairs toilet and those that buy something, thinking they have been really clever - only to be told it's worth half of what they bought it for. It's car crash television in it's prime.
