New Year, New House, New Cartoons.

As some of you will already be aware, I'm moving house. This is the reason that I've not been able to produce any cartoons since the 3rd December. The cartoons will reappear in late January, early February. I have many ideas for some brand new cartoons.

I'd like to thank all those who've supported this blog over the last couple of years, and wish you all a happy and prosperous new year. 2008 is going to be a big year for cartooning. I'm inspired and feeling positive. Amazing how moving to a bigger, better house can do. Improved parking, and having a bath is all I need to produce some stunning cartoons.

Of course, for all those new visitors - there's a few hundred cartoons in the archive to keep you amused until the revamp. Here's the last cartoon of 2007:

HANNA-BARBERA CHARACTERS - 18" x 24" original art available!

A couple of people have recently asked me about this piece I did a while ago. It's all of the Hanna-Barbera "animal" characters that appeared between the years 1958 through 1966...from RUFF & REDDY to PRECIOUS PUPP. The original art piece measures 18" x 24" and it is available to own! The original art was too large to scan, so I had to photocopy the original in sections. Then, I pieced the photocopy together for scanning. You can see the lines where the photocopies were cut. Of course, the cut lines do not appear on the original art piece. The art is brush, pen & ink on bristol board and the classic HANNA-BARBERA logo is hand-lettered. E-mail me at powsley@flash.net for details. Thanks! -- Patrick Owsley

Sudan Ease

Sudan Teddy Cartoon.

Apologies for the lack of cartoons over the last couple of weeks. Two reasons. I've just upgraded the computer, so it's taken a while for that to get sorted out, but moments after doing so, I've also realised that I need to move house. The new computer is fantastic. No longer will I have to struggle with an aging laptop, now I have a machine with enough power to do all I want it to, and best of all a widescreen monitor - which is ideal for Photoshop. Once settled in the new house, the cartoons will continue, but for the time being expect the occasional quick sketch cartoon to appear.

Bombing Itlay

Nike flew me and Estevan out to meet with DJ Clark Kent in Milan Italy for the Nike Air force 1 conference. We hooked up with Milan local Fly Cat and went bombing in a old school yard, we then binged on a margarita pizzas and pasta.
